Tripura Cabinet Approved 250 Posts For Vidya Jyoti Schools

Several important decision has been taken by the Tripura state cabinet through a meeting held on Wednesday. Minister Sushant Chowdhury told in a press conference in Civil Secretariat on Wednesday.

Minister Chowdhury informed that:

In the first year, Rs 30 crore will be spent through the Chief Minister Tribal Development Mission under the Tribal Welfare Department. 

Registration of the beneficiary Tribal families will be done through the office. 

The overall development of those families will be worked on.

Work will be done to increase the skills of the tribal youths and their employment. This mission will be started immediately. 

8 Sports Officers will be appointed directly in Youth Welfare and Sports Department. These sports officers should have the educational qualification of graduation from a recognized university. They must have been diagnosed with BPEd. Also should have 5 years coaching experience. 

Also 8 people will be appointed on the post of Sports Officer Group-D Gazetted. These posts will be filled through TPSC. These vacancies will be filled through three phase examination. 

50 vacancies will be filled in the permanent post of Supervisor Group-C under ST Welfare Department and SC Welfare Department. Approval received from Finance Department to fill up the vacant posts.

Decision has been taken in the meeting of the Ministerial Council regarding the appointment of 125 physical teachers for the eleventh and twelfth classes under the Department of School Education. These 125 vacancies are newly created by the School Education Department for schools under Vidya Jyoti Scheme. 

Apart from this, the decision to appoint 125 school librarians under the School Education Department is also taken in this meeting. These 125 school librarian posts have been newly created for the schools under the Vidya Jyoti scheme. 14 vacancies to be filled in MBB University. 

Decision is taken in the cabinet meeting on Wednesday regarding the filling of 75 vacancies of assistant professors for general degree colleges under the higher education department. 

Soon e-cabinet will be started in the state. e-Governance is already underway at the administrative level.
