Another person died after being electrocuted Kumarghat chariot tragedy . Ruma Sarkar Ghosh, who was undergoing treatment in Delhi, passed away on Friday after a long battle.
Her last rites has been completed in Delhi. With her death, the toll in Kumarghat reverse chariot electrocution tragedy has increased to 10.
Incidentally, the Tripura government sent three people who were seriously injured in the chariot tragedy for better treatment outside the state.
Among them, Ruma Sarkar Ghosh died on Friday.
In a tweet MoS Pratima Bhowmik said that after a long struggle, another life lamp is extinguished among the injured in the unexpected incident of the Ulto Rath in Kumarghat. Ruma Sarkar Ghosh finally reached there from where no body can return while being treated at Safdar Jung Hospital in Delhi. I paid my respects by attending her last rites in Delhi today”
The Union Minister also said that her younger daughter had already lost the battle for her life in that incident. The elder daughter is still undergoing treatment in Delhi. May God give the family strength to come out from this difficult time.
Meanwhile government constituted a high power committee to investigate this chariot tragedy. But government yet to publish the report.
On the other hand opposition demanding judicial probe of this incident.
