On Thursday the Chief Minister of Tripura visited one of the state referral hospitals IGM in Agartala and inspected the service of the hospital.
He talked with the on duty doctors and medical staff. He also talked with the patients and their family members here.
later speaking with the press he said:
The current state government is working diligently to ensure better medical services in various hospitals of the state.
Good relations between patients and health
workers need to strengthen the public health
system up to the primary level.
I visited IGM Hospital in the capital and visited
different departments. The overall service is quite satisfying. I direct the concerned authority to solve some issues quickly.
Notably CM paid visit in the IGM hospital as few allegations of medical negligence of the hospital came in light through media.
