The National Health Mission (NHM) Tripura conducts the second phase of Covid19 Vaccine mock drill across eight districts on Friday. A total of 152 health facilities had been identified as immunisation centres or session sites. These include 30 centres in the West district, 9 in Khowai, 18 in Sepahijala, 17 in Gomati, 26 in the South, 21 in Dhalai, 13 in Unakoti and 18 in North Tripura district. A total of 211 teams have already been trained for vaccination. Out of these, 152 teams had been given the responsibility of vaccination centres. The cold chain spaces have been prepared, and additional 102 ice lined refrigerators (ILRs), and 16 numbers of the deep fridge would arrive soon from the centre. The state officials during a video conference with the union health minister Dr Harsh Vardhan on Thursday requested for the early sanction of eight refrigerator vans to carry the vaccines across the state.
