A delegation of the Tripura Pradesh Congress left for Guwahati on Sunday to demand the establishment of a second railway line and a railway division.
Congress leadership and workers left for Guwahati by rail on Sunday afternoon.
Tripura Pradesh Congress President Birjit Sinha said that the workers along with the leadership of the Tripura Congress left for Guwahati by rail demanding the establishment of a second railway line in Tripura.
“We will hand over a memorandum through a deputation at the NF Railway headquarters, Maligain on Monday. This memorandum will mention the second railway line which must touches all sub-divisions and district headquarters from Dharmanagar to Sabroom” he added.
“At the same time demand will be made to establish a railway division in Dharmanagar” said Tripura Congress President.
