The saffron camp has started the preparation of Lok Sabha elections. Activities have been increased.
A high-level meeting was held at the BJP office in Guwahati on Wednesday with the representatives of North-Eastern states.
Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Bishwasharma, BJP North-Eastern Organization coordinator Dr. Sambit Patra Top level representatives of ruling parties from North Eastern states attended the meeting held at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Bhawan.
A ten-member Tripura State BJP delegation led by state BJP president Rajib Bhattacharya joined the Lok Sabha-based Pravas Yojana.
Among other there were state BJP general secretary Amit Rakshit, MLAs Abhishek Debroy, Pinaki Daschoudhury, BJP South Tripura District President Shankar Roy and other office-bearers.
The strategy for the 160 Lok Sabha constituencies of the respective regions was decided in the meeting.
East Tripura seat of the state was also in this list. State BJP president Rajib Bhattacharya said that the organizational situation of the East Tripura constituency has been discussed.
The outline of the party’s program for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections was also decided in the meeting.
