Drug claims one more life. A 20-year-old youth died due to drug intoxication. The deceased identified is Danish Debbarma.
It is known that the son of Rishikesh Debbarma of Bairagipara in Kalyanpur under Khowai district of Tripura was addicted to drugs for a long time.
The family members could not stop him even with many explanations. For some time, his family members treated him at a de-addiction center in Padmabil, Khowai.
But that didn’t help either. On Thursday afternoon, after having lunch with his family, he left the house without telling anyone.
According to the sources, he then sat in a nearby rubber plantation and took the drug.
According to the report he once collapsed due to overdose of drugs. When the police went and recovered the dead body, they also found prohibited drugs and used syringes etc. near the dead body.
Kalyanpur police station has received a case of unusual death in this regard.
