Five militants of the NLFT (BM) group surrendered in Tripura.
The district police claimed that these terrorists surrendered to the Dhalai district police on Friday.
The surrendered militants are Kant Mohan Tripura (45), son of late Lebamani Tripura under Manikpur police station.
Nakshatra Debbarma son of late Vidhimohan Debbarma of Jagai Bari area under Champahaur police station.
Emong Debbarma (20) son of Rajesh Debbarma of Jagakobra para under Champahor police station.
Wakhimohan Tripura’s Son Gertejay Tripura (23) of Kala Bari area under Manikpur police station. Narendra Tripura’s son Mansubar Tripura (25).
They flees from Silachari camp in Bangladesh on August 15 and later entered Gobinda bari area under Indo-Bangladesh border.
They also contacted with the intelligence branch of Tripura police and later on Friday surrendered before police.
Presently they are under Chamanu Police Station.
