Deprivation of the unemployed youths is going on in the Amrityug of independence. The unemployed youths are being neglected. Therefore, the frustrated youths demanded to the Tripura Government to speed up the recruitment process for Group C and Group D posts of JRBT, or else give poison them.
On Sunday, the unemployed youths stages agitation at city center in Agartala.
“Almost 2.5 years passed. But the government has not yet completed the recruitment process of JRBT. After many agitations, the government announced the results of the written examination but fixed the date of the oral examination on January 17 and 18. But later that date was postponed for assembly elections” they daid.
“After the establishment of the government for the second time, till now the concerned department does not seem to take any initiative to complete the recruitment process quickly with the oral examination. Due to such laxity, when we met Minister of Labor Department Tinku Roy and demanded speedy recruitment, he said that it would had taken seven to eight years to complete the recruitment process during the left period. It is much better than that period now” they said.
The unemployed youths strongly protested such statement of the minister. Such statement of the minister has disappointed the unemployed people.
” Many youths are not getting jobs and getting over aged. Therefore, the government must take the initiative to complete the recruitment process between June and July with a serious attitude. Otherwise, 24,000 candidates who passed the written examination are suffering from uncertainty. Because it is unemployed young men and women who are asking for rights in terms of merit, not begging” this is what the unemployed youths said.
