A 24-year-old laborer from Tripura is killed and another person injured in a landslide at a road construction site in Mizoram’s Serchhip district on Monday. Police gave this information.
According to the police, the landslide occurred at around 12:30 pm in Keitum village, about 122 km from Aizawl, when Dahan John Reang and other laborers were working on widening the national highway.
He said that Reang died on the spot while the injured person is admitted to Serchhip District Hospital. He is out of danger now.
Police said that Reang’s body is being sent to his village in North Tripura district after post-mortem.
