Major changes have been made in various organizations of Corporation and Commission working under Tripura state government.
The state government has restructured 20 corporations and Commission by appointing new chairpersons of various bodies. Which seems like a significant development.
Through this, the development of the state is expected to be accelerated by these organizations.
Various new faces have been included in this new list. A separate recruitment notification was issued by Additional Secretary to the state government, S Mog, subject to the approval of Governor SN Arya.
Tripura Tea Development Corporation Chairman Santosh Saha and Tripura Women’s Commission Chairperson Barnali Goswami have already been relieved of their respective duties.
BJP Mahila Morcha state president Jharna Debbarma has replaced Barnali Goswami as the Chairperson of Tripura Women Commission and BJP OBC Morcha leader Samir Ghosh has been elevated as the Chairman of Tripura Tea Development Corporation.
Former BJP MLA Krishnadhan Das was relieved as Chairman of Markfed. This time former TRTC chairman Abhijit Dev has been appointed to this post. Senior BJP leader and former minister Jawahar Saha has been appointed as the Chairman of Tripura Horticulture Development Department.
Former journalist and current BJP spokesperson Nabendu Bhattacharya has been appointed as the Chairman of the Society’s General Body for the Management of Cultural Complexes under the Department of Information and Cultural Affairs.
Also, BJP leader and advocate Jasimuddin has been appointed as the Chairman of Tripura Minority Cooperative Development Corporation.
Incumbent BJP MLA Mylafru Mog has been appointed as the Chairman of Tripura State Cooperative Union.
