Tripura: Malaria Spreads In Tribal Areas

Amid the Durga Puja festival , reports of malaria outbreak have once again emerged from the remote areas of tribal inhabited under Teliamura sub-division, Khowai District of Tripura.

As a result of this, fear has spread among a section of people living in Teliamura sub-division, especially in tribal areas.

This time a similar incident has come up again from Tirthmani Para area of ​​Tuikarma ADC Village under Mungiakami Block.

According to the news, the women of Reang community living in Tirthmani Para area, a one-year-old child named Mari Reang (03), Sunil Joy Reang (13) and a 65-year-old woman named Muslabati Reang suffering from fever for about seven days.

Seeing the deterioration of physical condition, the family members finally sent the information to Teliamura sub-divisional hospital.

Receiving the information, the ambulance of the Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital went and brought five people suffering from fever to the Teliamura Hospital on Saturday for better treatment.

According to hospital sources, they have malaria germs in their bodies. Currently, they are undergoing treatment at Teliamura hospital.

On the other hand, seven years Niraj Joy Reang of Hazrapara area of ​​Kankrachara ADC Village are said to have been found to have malaria germs.
