Tripura Poll Strategy: Five-Hours Meeting Held At Nadda’s Residence

 A five-hour long marathon meeting was held to final the candidates list and to decide strategy the for upcoming Tripura Assembly polls at party’s national president JP Nadda’s residence on Thursday.

 From Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha, former Chief Minister Biplab Deb, Tripura BJP state president Rajiv Bhattacharya, election observer Mahesh Sharma and MP Pratima Bhowmik were present in the meeting.

 BJP’s North East convener Sambit Patra was also present in the meeting.

It is known that beside finalizing the list of candidates, the election strategy was also discussed. 

From the central minister to the top leaders of the party will also be in the campaign. There was also a discussion about that.

Notably the election committee of the party to meet on Friday. Only then BJP will officially publish the list of candidates. 

The 60-member assembly will go to polls on February 16. Counting of votes in all three states is on March 2.
