Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha attended the distribution ceremony of cloths centering Durga puja among the needy under Ward No. 20 of Agartala Municipal Corporation by the initiative of Town Bardowali Assembly Constituency on Tuesday. The program was held at Orient Chowmuhani in the capital Agartala.
Speaking in the program he said:
Some parties in the state wanted to stay in power by keeping the problem alive. But people didn’t like them after a while. BJP party and government wants to survive by solving problems. Central and State Government schemes are being properly implemented. Social Pension has been increased from Rs 700 to Rs 2 thousand.
4.75 lakh people remain out of the Pradhan Mantri Janarogya Yojana. A scheme called Chief Minister Janarogya Yojana has been launched for them. Officials have been directed to issue cards quickly.
Seven OPDs and IPDs have been started in GBP hospital. 100 sub centers will be made.
The district hospitals are being improved.
