Tripura SFI Stages Protest Against Education ‘Privatization’, ‘Discrimination’

SFI Tripura State Committee held rally in Agartala with a three-point demand, including stopping the collection of fees in educational institutions, canceling all discriminatory policies in the field of education.

SFI Tripura State Secretary Sandipan Deb was present in the rally. He criticized the government and said that:

“It is observed that the current state government is working to privatize education. And creating discrimination in education. And the education system that is gradually being built is trying to lead to destruction”

“Schools, colleges and universities are increasing fees everywhere. This fee is being collected from the students in an unrestrained manner. In the name of Vidyajyoti Scheme , there has been an attempt to divide the entire education system into two parts. Due to this, the students in the schools under the Vidyajyoti are worried whether they will be able to sit for the exam in Bengali medium in the coming days”

So SFI urged everyone to come forward to save the government education system out of this critical situation.
