Tripura: TET Passed Job Aspirants Gharaoed Education Directorate

Once again, TET passed job aspirants hits the streets demanding government jobs.

The unemployed youth of the state who passed the TET-1, TET-2 examinations in 2022 protested and demonstrated in Shiksha Bhavan (Directorate of Education).

The Shiksha Bhavan and the state office of TRBT were once heated by the protests of the unemployed on Wednesday .

The protesting unemployed complain that the Chief Minister-Education Minister is not meeting them. As a result, they were forced to come to Shiksha Bhavan, TRBT offices.

Unemployed youths protested at Shiksha Bhavan and told reporters that the Education Minister recently said in a meeting that there are 1615 vacancies for TE-1 teaching posts in the Education Department. 1643 vacancies for TET-2 teacher. However, the recruitment is yet to start.

“Although in the 2022 TET-1, TET-2 exam about 38000 unemployed appeared. Among them, only 361 unemployed people passed the TET-1 and TET-2 exams. But why are they not being appointed? The answer to this question is not with the education department and TRBT authorities. Again, the education minister is also unwilling to meet with us” they said.

Meanwhile, the Education Department and TRBT officials said that they have the authority to conduct the examination and publish the results. Recruitment is the matter of the government.
