The death of an under-trial prisoner in Khowai Sub Jail has created a stir since midnight on Sunday .
The deceased identified as Bashudeb Tanti. He was from Shonatala village under Khowai District.
According to the jail sources, he was an under-trial prisoner in a case under POCSO Act.
The 82 years Bashudeb Tanti mysteriously injured in the lavatory at midnight on Sunday.
After that he was admitted in Khowai District Hospital.
But he breathed his last at 2.30 am on Sunday.
According to the family of the deceased said that the jail authority informed them on Monday morning that Bashudeb Tanti is ill and admitted in the hospital. But as soon as they reached in the hospital they found Bashudeb in the morgue.
Police registered an UD Case in this incident.
