Tripura: Unemployeds Holds Dharna Demanding Increase Of Upper Age Limit For Job

A deputation was made to the TRBT Controller on Tuesday on behalf of the TRBT examinees regarding examination related matters. They also demanded to extend the age limit for government job.


TRBT exam is over but the result is not declared for a long time. The candidates are in uncertainty. A strong demand has been made by the candidates for the immediate announcement of the exam results.

 Complaints were made by the candidates that there were many mistakes in the question paper also. These issues have been brought to the attention of the TRBT and requested to take necessary measures.

“The time has come for many of the general category candidates to cross the age limit to apply for government job. Our demanded is to relax the age limit for appearing in the TET examination” said the job aspirants.

” State government already relaxed the age limit to apply in job to 47 years for the SC, ST category candidates. But yet to take decision about general category candidates” they said.

“Our demand is government must relax the upper age limit to 45 years to apply in government job for general category candidates also” said the job aspirants.

” If our demands not solved than we will hit the street” threatened the job aspirants.
