Along with the whole country Tripura State Youth Congress observed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday as ‘unemployment day’ on Sunday.
On this day, Youth Congress workers protested in front of the Congress Bhavan in Agartala and burnt the effigie of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Youth Congress state president Rakhu Das said Narendra Modi had promised to provide 2 crore jobs a year. Where did that promise go?
“Modi government has provided only 7 lakh 22 thousand jobs in nine years” he said.
“There are various vacancies in this state as well, but the BJP government is not filling them” said the Youth Congress.
