CPIM state committee has condemned the further extension of TTAADC by the Governor of tripura and termed it undemocratic. “Election for Bodoland Territorial Council BTC in Assam have been announced today. Due to the outbreak of noval corona virus it was postponed for six months in last April. Tripura governor in the month of May had appointed an administrator for six month and today in a freash notification the tenure of the administrator has been extended for another six month. Amid covid19 Bihar election and bielection of various States were conducted. There is no doubt in assuming that on advice of BJP led state government the governor has taken the undemocratic decision. We demand immediate conduct of the TTAADC election with fearless and rightful election” in a press statement said CPIM yesterday. Meanwhile the administrative power of TTAADC which is now in the hand of governor has been extended for another six months as the novel corona virus outbreak yet to over. The governor has extended the tenure of GK Rao as administrator through a notification.
