Ongoing governor’s rule to be extended in Tripura Tribal Area Autonomous District Council for another six months. Ongoing rule of governor is scheduled to expire on 17 of next month (November). According to the election commission guidelines atleast 90 days are compulsory for conducting election in any autonomous body. Naturally there is no other option but to extend the governor’s rule in TTAADC, said political analysts. On the other hand according to the constitution governor’s rule can’t be extended more than two-times. Afterall government has to take the last decision.
