Two Passenger Trains Collided In Andhra Pradesh. 6 Died, Several Injured

At least six people lost their lives and several others suffered injuries after two passenger trains collided in Andhra Pradesh’s Vizianagaram district on Sunday.

The tragic collision took place between the Visakhapatnam-Palasa passenger train and the Visakhapatnam-Ragada passenger train.

The rescue operations were initiated by the local administration immediately after the tragic incident took place.

Also, the accident relief trains, NDRF personnel and ambulances have reached the accident spot. Also, DRM Shri Saurabh Prasad is at the site and overseeing the rescue operations.

The Indians Railways has issued the helpline numbers in order to help the families of the victims and other passengers.
