The Law Commission had issued a notice on June 14 seeking suggestions from the general public and organisations.

Till Friday, the commission has received more than 50 lakh suggestions. The Commission believes that this issue is related to every citizen of the country, in such a situation it is necessary to know their opinion before taking any decision.
