UFO Sparks Sensation, Authorities On High Alert. Imphal Airspace Shut Down

Airport controllers in Imphal, Manipur have seen some such things, after which high alert has been declared at the airport.

Three flights have been stopped in Imphal, Manipur and two flights landing there have been diverted towards Kolkata.

According to initial reports, this unknown object could be nothing else but a UFO.

Around 3 pm on Sunday, three flights from Imphal to Agartala, Guwahati and Kolkata were stopped till 6 pm. Apart from this, a flight from Delhi to Imphal has been diverted to Kolkata.

Along with this, the flight from Guwahati to Imphal has also been stopped. This happened because airport controllers noticed some things that are not normally seen.

After this the authorities immediately closed the controlled airspace in Imphal. After which all flights were stopped. It was told that these flights will be operated again in the evening.

The Airport Authority says that the unique object has not been identified yet. But reports suggest that the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and the Indian Air Force (IAF) have jointly started an investigation into the matter.

Meanwhile, a media report said that the Airport Authority of India (AAI) has handed over the control of the airspace to the Indian Air Force.

After this, the Indian Air Force has resumed commercial flights. Meanwhile, Imphal Airport Director Chipemmi Keeshing said in a statement that an unknown object has been sighted. Keeshing said all three flights were operational after providing security clearance.
