Vibhajan Vibhishika Memorial Day Observed In Tripura
Along with the entire nation Tripura Pradesh BJP organized remembrance meeting on partition of India on the eve of Independence day.
A rally also organized in city Agartaĺa under the banner of Vibhajan Vibhishika.
After the rally a hall meeting was organized at Rabindra Bhavan.
Speaking in the program Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha said that:
“Number of freedom fighters and general public have sacrificed their lives to free British corruption from India”.
“This is a terrifying side of freedom, division of country. Millions of unfortunate people of the country had to pay for this division due to the disaster of the British and the indifferent greed for power”
“Vibhajan Vibhishika day is a day to remember with reverence those Indians who laid down their lives as a result of Partition. Along with this, this day also remembers the suffering and struggle of those people, who had to leave the country due to displacement”.
