Ahead of the upcoming by-elections, Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha informed about the various people-oriented projects of the Center and the state while participating in the campaign program in support of the BJP nominated candidate of Dhanpur Assembly Constituency Bindu Debnath.
On Tuesday, he participated in the padayatra and door-to-door public relations program at booth no. 24 and 25 in Machima of Dhanpur .
In addition to this, the Chief Minister also participated in political meetings in the election campaign.
The chief minister said in the meeting that the face of Tripura will change in the next few days. Once the Maitri Setu and Special Economic Zone (SEZ) at Sabroom are opened, the overall development of Tripura will progress more rapidly.
“In the future, this region will become one of the gateways to South East Asia. Communication with the outside world will also be easier. Along with this, if rail communication between Agartala and Bangladesh starts soon, it will be possible to reach Kolkata quickly” Chief Minister Dr. Saha said.
“The main aim of the current government led by the Bharatiya Janata Party is to solve people’s problems. Although the previous government tried to stay in power to serve their own interests by keeping people’s problems alive. For the overall development of the state, the current government has given priority to the development of the socio-economic conditions of poor people, development of education, health, agriculture system” he said.
Taking part in the campaign program in support of the party candidate, the Chief Minister strongly criticized the opposition camp on various issues.
He said that all those political parties like CPIM and Congress who had stopped the development of Dhanpur for a long time through murder, terrorism, lies, factionalism and disorder have been rejected by the people of this constituency. They have full support for the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Prime Minister. So we are sure to win the upcoming by-elections as well.
On this day, the Chief Minister attended the meeting in Banshpukur area in support of BJP nominated candidate Bindu Debnath.
