Women blocked the road with empty jugs demanding drinking water, ignoring the natural calamity. 

According to the details of the incident, the residents of Nabinagar area of ​​Bishalgarh subdivision under Sepahijala District have been suffering from drinking water problem for three months.

New water pump machines are being installed in the area. The old pump machine is stopped before that pump machine was installed. 

As a result, the people of the area have been suffering from the problem of drinking water for three months. 

Even after informing the local public representatives about the problem of drinking water, nothing is being done. 

Therefore, the women of the area were forced to hold the Bishalgarh-Dhakabari road blockade on Thursday with empty pitchers in their hands. 

The road blockers said, The old water line is cut to provide new water line. The water line is not renewed the next time. And the old line is not renovated either. They are not getting drinking water for three months. 

One day water was supplied in the area by car. Since then there has been no water supply to the area. 

When the Panchayat was informed, the matter was not given importance. So they hold the road blockade. They demanded that drinking water should be provided in the area until the new pump machine is commissioned. Now let’s see if drinking water is provided keeping in mind 30 to 35 families in the area.
