Under the captaincy of Babar Azam, the Pakistani team has not been able to perform well in the T20 World Cup 2024. The team lost in the Super Over against America in its first match. After this, the Indian team defeated them by 6 runs. The Pakistani team could not recover after the defeat in these matches.

At the same time, the Pakistani team could not reach the Super-8 due to the match between Ireland and America being canceled due to rain.

The New Zealand team has played 3 matches in the current T20 World Cup 2024, out of which the team was successful in winning only one.

New Zealand lost to Afghanistan by 84 runs and against West Indies by 13 runs. After losing two consecutive matches, the New Zealand team could not make it to the Super-8 round of T20 World Cup 2024.

Apart from Pakistan and New Zealand, teams from Canada, Ireland, Namibia, Oman, Uganda and Papua New Guinea, Nepal and Sri Lanka have also not made it to the Super-8.

From Group B, only the Australian team has qualified for the Super-8. Scotland and England are still in the race for the Super-8 from this group. Scotland has to play its last match against Australia.

If Scotland wins this match, it will qualify for the Super-8. On the other hand, England will have to win its last match to reach the Super-8. Also, it will have to pray that Scotland loses its match. In such a situation, only one team from this group, Scotland or England, can reach the Super-8 round.

So far only South Africa has qualified for Super-8 from Group-D. Bangladesh and Netherlands are the top contenders to reach Super-8 from this group. Bangladesh will play its last match against Nepal. By winning this match, Bangladesh can easily reach Super-8.

Netherlands will have to win its match against Sri Lanka by a big margin to reach the next round. Apart from this, we will have to pray that Bangladesh loses the match.

In such a situation, only one team from Netherlands and Bangladesh can reach the Super-8 round.
