100 Schools Closed For Bomb Threat in Delhi. 'Emails From Russia' Said Police

The case of bombs being planted in schools by sending emails to around 100 schools of Delhi-NCR has turned out to be completely fake. This has been confirmed by the Home Ministry and Delhi Police. Police investigation has revealed that the intention behind sending such e-mails and threatening so many schools simultaneously was only to create sensation.

According to police officials, they have not found anything suspicious in the investigation of all the schools. Therefore, this case is completely fake. During the investigation of the case, the police have also found out from where these emails were sent. The special team of police is now trying to reach the accused who has carried out this incident.


Let us tell you that on Wednesday morning there was chaos in about 100 schools of Delhi-NCR when it was revealed that there were bombs in these schools. After receiving the information about the bomb, Delhi Police started investigation. 

Also, all the schools were evacuated in time. According to Delhi Police, the language of all the schools to which the e-mail was sent was the same. 

The police is now trying to find out who has sent all these mails. Amidst all this, the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi has said that Delhi Police has traced the email through which the email was sent to all these schools. 

According to sources, Delhi Police has completed the investigation into the matter of emails received by schools. During investigation it was found that this entire matter of sending e-mail is fake. 

Also, the police did not find anything in the investigation of the schools. Delhi Police has termed it as a Hawks call. The police is now preparing to reach the accused who had sent this mail. For this, help is also being taken from IT experts. 

Let us tell you that in the mails sent to the schools it was said that a bomb has been planted in these schools. 

After receiving information about the e-mail received by the schools, various agencies including Delhi Police had started investigation. Schools were also evacuated in a hurry.

Like Delhi Police, Noida Police has also completed its investigation regarding this matter. After completing the investigation, Noida CP has also made a post on social media site X. 

This post states that all schools are safe, ignore SPAM/HOAX mail. On behalf of @noidapolice, there is an appeal to all the school managers/parents of @CP_Noida. Don't believe any rumour.

At the same time, Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Vinay Saxena said that after talking to the Police Commissioner, he has asked for a detailed report on the bomb threat in the schools of Delhi-NCR. Delhi Police has been directed to conduct a thorough search of the school premises, identify the culprits and ensure that no lapses occur.

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has given its reaction on the issue of bomb threats to many schools in Delhi and NCR. The Home Ministry has said that there is nothing to worry about in this matter. 

The Home Ministry has issued a statement saying that it appears to be a fake call. Delhi Police and security agencies are following standard protocols and taking appropriate steps.

Officials investigating the case said that Mother Mary School located in Mayur Vihar area, Delhi Public School located in Dwarka, Sanskriti School in Chanakyapuri, Delhi Public School in Vasant Kunj, Amity School in Saket and Delhi Public School in Noida Sector 30- threat was sent through email about a bomb being placed on the campus of these Schools.

Delhi Police officials said that all the schools were evacuated and the local police was informed about the email. A police officer said that the bomb detection team, bomb disposal squad and Delhi Fire Service officials immediately reached the schools of Delhi and the search operation is going on.

On the other hand, after receiving information about bombs in schools, Delhi Minister Atishi had posted on social media site X.

Minister written in this post that cases of bomb threats have come to light in many schools of Delhi. These schools have been evacuated for the time being. Police are currently investigating inside the school. Nothing suspicious has been found in the schools that have been investigated so far. We request parents not to panic. 

Noida Police  said that classes are suspended in Delhi Public School located in the city and police force has been deployed.

Noida Police said in a statement, "Taking immediate cognizance of the information, the police force is conducting a search operation around the school. Other necessary measures are also being taken.'' 

An official has said that it is believed that more schools may have received such threatening emails and it is suspected that only one person is behind all this. Security agencies including the Special Cell of Delhi Police are busy finding the source of the email.

Regarding this matter, the police said that this is a mischief, a mail has been sent to all the schools on such a large scale to spread panic. The cyber cell unit is also trying to trace the email and IP address." 

It is noteworthy that in February, a similar bomb threat was received at Delhi Police School in RK Puram, which later turned out to be a hoax.
