3 Days Winter Session of Tripura Assembly To Begin On January 10

The winter session of the Tripura Legislative Assembly will begin from January 10. 

The three-day session will continue till January 15. 

This decision was taken unanimously in the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting on Wednesday , said Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ratan Lal Nath.

On this day, he said, a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee was held in the Assembly today regarding the winter session. 

As per the tradition, the first session of the Assembly of every English year begins with the Governor's address. Accordingly, Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu will deliver the address at the beginning of the first day of the session on January 10. 

The outline of various works of the state government for the next one year will be discussed. 

Besides, the Tripura government will introduce two bills in the winter session.

He also said that another bill may be presented in the session. Moreover, the budget session will begin in March this year.
