5-Day Visit: RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat to Arrive in Tripura on Thursday

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) supremo Mohan Bhagwat will visit Tripura for five days from May 23 and participate in several programs.

According to the report Bhagwat will stay at Khayerpur Seva Dham in West Tripura and participate in several programs before departing from the state on May 28.

Chief Minister Manik Saha, senior BJP leaders and ministers will meet the RSS Sarsanghchalak and discuss the current political issues of Tripura.

He will meet the campaigners of the North-Eastern region.

Political observers believe that Bhagwat's visit to the northeastern state is important ahead of the counting of Lok Sabha votes on June 4, as the RSS is expanding its base in the northeast.

In view of the visit of the RSS chief, security has been further tightened in Khayerpur Seva Dham areas of West Tripura.
