5 Youths Arrested Selling Drugs Nearby School, Women's College in Agartala

5 youths arrested by the police while selling drugs near School and Collage in Agartala. 

A total of 14 grams of brown sugar was recovered from them. 

It is known that on the basis of secret information, the police received a report last night that some youths would come to Mahatma Gandhi HS School area to sell drug paraphernalia. 

Based on that information, police raided the area. In the raid, 3 youths under the leadership of Tanna kar Chowdhury has been arrested by the police while selling drugs in the area. 

Police recovered 14 grams of brown sugar from them. After questioning them, two more people has been arrested from the women's college area and taken to the police station. 

Two bikes, Rs 25 thousand cash and 5 mobile phones also has been detained. 

A case has been registered against them under NDPS section. 

Today has been produced before the court seeking police remand.

All the arrested persons identified as Tanna kar Chowdhury, Ajay Pal, Arjun Sarkar, Piyush Sarkar and Abhijit Saha.

There are already three NDPS and one robbery case against Tanna Kar Bhowmik, said police.
