57th Engineers Day Celebrated In Tripura

A blood donation camp was held on Sunday at the office house of Engineers Association on the occasion of Engineers Day at  Gorkha Basti in Agartala.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha officially inaugurated the Blood Donation Camp. 

It wad organized by the Public Work Department Government of Tripura and The Institute of Engineers Tripura Branch, a Blood Donation Camp was held on the occasion of 57th Engineers Day at the office of Gorkhabastishit Engineers Association. 

Inaugurating the blood donation camp on this day, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that blood is considered as one of the essential components in medical services. All types of patients require blood during surgery including thalassemia patients, accident patients, pregnant women. No matter how advanced the invention of science is, science has not yet discovered any substitute for blood. Only the blood stored in the human body can meet the blood demand. 

That's why the Chief Minister has urged everyone to come forward to donate blood. 

He thanked the engineers for organizing such a blood donation camp on the occasion of Engineers Day
