75 years of the Constitution: PM Modi, Rahul Gandhi Discussed In Parliament

Speaking in the Lok Sabha on the occasion of 75 years of the Constitution, PM Modi and the Leader of the Opposition tried to present their thoughts and agenda to the country through their respective addresses with the help of the Constitution. During the Constitution discussion, while the ruling party and the opposition tried to show themselves as the biggest advocates of the Constitution, on the other hand, they were seen staking claim to the legacy of faces like Ambedkar, Rajendra Prasad, Patel, Bose.

For the past few years, the way the opposition has been talking about the attack on the constitutional institutions of the country and has accused the Modi government of ignoring the democracy and constitutional values of the country and the opposition has fought its election battle in the Lok Sabha elections with a copy of the Constitution, PM Modi considered the discussion held on the occasion of 75 years of the Constitution as a golden opportunity for him to answer this.

After the Lok Sabha elections, the PM and the Modi government appeared to be on the back foot for a few days in the two sessions of Parliament, but after the victory in the elections of Maharashtra and Haryana, the confident ruling party and PM Modi fiercely targeted the opposition in the name of the Constitution.

In view of the strong way in which the Congress targeted the government in the fight for the Constitution on Saturday, PM Modi hit back at the Congress on the amendments made in the 75 years of constitutional journey and its use. The way PM Modi used strong words like bleeding the Constitution, bleeding the Constitution and tearing its soul to pieces in the context of the Congress, it is clear that PM Modi presented his side in a systematic way by refuting all the allegations of the opposition in a systematic manner.

However, in this effort, the ruling party also tried to put forward its own logic behind the constitutional amendment. BJP and PM Modi tried to give the message that during the Congress rule, the constitutional amendment came as an attack on democracy and its values, whereas BJP made these changes for the country's interest and public welfare.

Not only this, PM Modi also used this opportunity to mention the achievements of his government. He mentioned Article 370, India's efforts to become the third economic power, successful organization of G-20 and the Women's Reservation Bill as the major achievements of his government. PM Modi tried to target half the population of the country by mentioning the mother tongue and the opportunities being given to the mother power.

Describing the availability of education in mother tongue as a major achievement of his government, he said that mother tongue has been given a lot of importance in the new education policy and now children from poor families can become doctors and engineers by studying in their mother tongue. Claiming to see India as a major power on the occasion of 100 years of the country's independence, PM Modi also tried to indicate that he will not step back from taking his big agendas forward.

Recently, whether it was getting One Nation, One Election passed by the cabinet or mentioning UCC in his speech, PM Modi has tried to give a clear message that even though he is running a coalition government at the centre, he is not going to back down from the roadmap he has laid down to push his agenda forward.

Through his address, Rahul made it clear that the India Alliance is not going to back down from its agenda regarding caste census. It will take it forward with full vigor. Rahul said that we will not only conduct caste census, but will also break the wall of 50 percent reservation limit for this. He reiterated his intention on Friday.

In fact, by talking about caste census, India Alliance is trying to mobilize Dalits, tribals and OBCs, which comes as a counter to BJP's 'if we divide, we will divide' agenda. Not only this, to take forward the matter of socially backward people, Congress also tried to underline the equations between forward and backward people by talking about Savarkar and Manusmriti on Saturday.

It is noteworthy that most of the regional parties of the India Alliance talk about the backward classes. In such a situation, the eagerness and compulsion to bring this largest population of the country to their side is visible in the regional parties as well as in the Congress.

By referring to Manusmriti against the Constitution, Rahul has also tried to attack the BJP and RSS concept of Hindu Rashtra, which is mentioned from time to time by BJP leaders and sometimes by the people of the RSS. The way Rahul has highlighted Savarkar's statement that Manusmriti is better than the Constitution, it is clear that the Congress will continue to attack the BJP's concept of Hindutva and Hindu Rashtra.

The way Rahul tried to corner the government on the issues of unemployment, farmers, Agniveers and youth, the party has made it clear that it will not let these issues become ineffective on the ground. At the same time, by mentioning Adani, Congress also tried to give a message that even though its allies refrain from taking Adani's name, its fight over Adani is not going to stop. It will continue to attack PM Modi on this issue
