8 Cr Jobs Created In Last 3-4 Years: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday (13 July 2024), laid the foundation stone and inaugurated projects worth Rs 3000 crore during his Mumbai visit.

During this, PM Modi targeted the opposition fiercely while counting the works done by the central government to create jobs in the country.

PM Modi said, "Recently RBI has released a report on jobs. According to the report, about 8 crore new jobs were created in the country in the last 3-4 years. These figures have shut the mouths of those who spread false things. These people (opposition) oppose investment, infrastructure and development of the country and now they are being exposed"

PM Modi said, "The NDA government's development model has been to give priority to the underprivileged. We are giving priority to those who have been at the last line for decades. As soon as the new government was sworn in, we have taken big decisions related to pucca houses for the poor and farmers."

Targeting the opposition, PM Modi said, "Maharashtra's Mahayuti government is also working with the same commitment. I am happy that the Maharashtra government has pledged to provide skill training to 10 lakh youth every year. Tourism, agriculture and industry are all benefiting from such connectivity infrastructure. This is creating new employment opportunities. When there is good connectivity, women also get security, convenience and respect. That is, these works of the NDA government are empowering the poor, farmers, women power and youth power."

Congress had targeted BJP after cracks appeared in Atal Setu. On this, PM Modi said, "Our aim is to improve the lives of people in Mumbai, so connectivity is being improved around Mumbai. The work of Coastal Road and Atal Setu has been completed in Mumbai and you will remember that wrong information was spread about Atal Setu."

PM Modi said, "Maharashtra is a state that will play an important role in making India developed (self-reliant). Maharashtra has the strength of industry, agriculture and finance sector and this has helped Mumbai become the financial hub (of India). Now my aim is to make Maharashtra the biggest financial power in the world.
