Abuse Of PM During Rahul's Visit, BJP-Congress Workers Clash In Patna, Muzaffarpur

BJP and Congress workers clashed in Patna on Friday over the issue of abusing PM Modi during Rahul Gandhi's Voter Rights Yatra.
BJP workers had reached outside the Congress office to protest. They started raising slogans against Rahul Gandhi. After some time, Congress workers also started raising slogans.
Within no time, people from both the parties clashed with each other. Sticks, rods and bricks were used against each other. Many vehicles were also vandalised.
After the uproar, the police chased away the BJP workers from there. After this, the Congress workers started protesting by sitting on the ground. After the protest that lasted for 30 minutes, the police removed all the Congress workers from the road and cleared the jam.
In this matter, the District Congress Office (Tilak Maidan Road) was gheraoed in Muzaffarpur. During this, BJP workers raised slogans against the Congress and Indy alliance leaders.
In Ara too, BJP and Congress workers came face to face. BJP workers burnt the effigy of Rahul Gandhi and RJD leader Tejaswi Yadav. Meanwhile, Congress workers also reached there. After which the matter escalated. Congress workers started protesting and also raised slogans.
BJP leader Roop Narayan Mehta has given a written complaint in Patliputra police station. He has applied for FIR. He has accused the Congress workers of attacking him with sticks, bricks and stones. He has also demanded action.
The Union Home Minister has given a statement in this matter. He said- 'Congress has done the most disgusting thing by using abusive language for PM Modi's mother during Rahul Gandhi's visit.'
'The kind of politics that Rahul Gandhi has started will not elevate our public life. This is not from today, ever since Narendra Modi became the PM, Sonia-Rahul Gandhi, Mani Shankar Aiyar have been abusing the Prime Minister.'
Rahul Gandhi wrote on X- 'Falsehood and violence cannot stand before truth and non-violence. Kill and break as much as you want - we will continue to protect the truth and the constitution. Satyameva Jayate.'
Nitish Kumar wrote X- 'This incident is extremely indecent. I condemn it.'
Darbhanga police arrested a youth named Rizvi alias Raja late Thursday night in the case of abusing the PM. The accused is a resident of Bhapura village of Singhwada police station area. Mohammad Rizvi is a pickup driver. He was produced in the court from where he was sent to jail in judicial custody for 14 days.
