Agartala: 12 Bangladeshi Infiltrators Arrested From Akhura

Human trafficking is increasing in Tripura. Bangladesh infiltrators have been arrested from various parts of Tripura in the last few days. Arrests are going on almost continuously every day, but it can be said that the administration has failed to stop human trafficking. 

This time, 12 Bangladeshi nationals has been arrested from different places at the border Golchakkar, Akhura area of ​​the capital Agartala. Three of them are women. They were nabbed by West Agartala police station with the help of BSF.

According to police sources, about 40 to 42 Bangladeshi citizens have been arrested in the last one week. Last Sunday, 30 Bangladeshi nationals were arrested from Agartala railway station. 

However, the majority of Bangladeshi citizens who are being detained are below 30 years of age. Among those detained this time, there are citizens of different ages. A police officer of West Agartala police station said that a case has been taken against them under the Foreigners Act and Passport Act. 

During preliminary investigation, the police found that they had entered the state through various borders and were scattered in the border roundabout area. The police have not yet solved the mystery behind it.

 However, the current quota movement in Bangladesh has made the environment turbulent. Meanwhile, Bangladeshi nationals are increasingly worried about illegally entering the territory of India. The police made all efforts to investigate the incident but failed. Because the police is still not able to figure out the purpose of their entry into India. 

The police are only saying that those they are detaining have tried to cross from Tripura to different states of the country. But the police is not able to find any trace of the motive behind it
