Agartala: Three Minors Drown While Bathing. Chief Minister Expresses Grief

Three minors tragically died after drowning while taking a bath. They had gone to bathe in the pond of the Arundhatinagar Agricultural Research Center in the capital Agartala. The heartbreaking incident in that area has shocked the locals. Meanwhile, helpless parents are sitting on the bank of the pond waiting to see the dead faces of their children. Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha expressed his condolences on social media over the incident.
According to the incident report, three minors went to bathe in the Arundhatinagar Agriculture Pond in the capital this morning. Suddenly, a young man drowned in the water. Hearing his screams, two more people tried to save him and also drowned in the water. With the help of the locals, one of the young men was rescued and sent to the hospital. Meanwhile, the police and fire brigade rushed to the spot after receiving the news. They rescued the two minors from the pond and took them to GB Hospital. But the doctors on duty declared them dead. The names of the deceased have been identified as Bobby Shukla Das (17), Shubham Dev (17) and Shubhjit De (15).
Badharghat MLA Meena Rani Sarkar rushed to the spot after receiving the news of the accident. The entire area was in mourning after losing three people on the same day. She said that the firemen and rescue workers recovered the bodies of the three boys from the water. The family members and locals broke down in tears after seeing the heartbreaking scene. They practically went mad with grief, she said.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha has expressed his condolences over the heartbreaking incident. He wrote on social media, "I am deeply saddened by the tragic death of three people due to drowning in the Matri Palli area of Badarghat, Agartala. I pray to God to give strength to the bereaved family members in this difficult time. Along with this, the administration has been instructed to take necessary measures."
