Ahmedabad Plane Crash: Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli Become Emotional

Air India's Boeing 787 Dreamliner plane crashed in Ahmedabad, Gujarat on Thursday afternoon. The plane crashed into a medical college hostel near Meghani Nagar within minutes of taking off from Ahmedabad's Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport at around 1.30 pm. There were 242 people on board the plane. There were 230 passengers and 12 crew members in it. This flight was going to London's Gatwick Airport. Many high profile people are also said to be on board this plane.

This incident has affected everyone. Indian ODI team captain and dashing batsman Rohit Sharma has posted an emotional post on Instagram. Rohit, who retired from Test cricket last month, has been away from the cricket field since the IPL. He wrote, 'Very sad and disturbing news from Ahmedabad. My prayers for those killed in this incident and their families.'

Virat Kohli has also reacted to this heartbreaking incident . Virat Kohli, who announced his retirement from Test cricket last month, wrote on Instagram, 'Shocked to hear about the plane crash in Ahmedabad today. Prayers for all those affected, as well as my condolences to their families.'

Virat Kohli's wife Anushka Sharma has also expressed grief over this plane crash. Bollywood actress Anushka wrote- I am very sad to hear the news of the plane crash in Ahmedabad today. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone.
