All Important India-USA Match Today For T20 WC Super-8

An important match will be played between the Indian team and America (USA) today ie (12 June) in the T20 World Cup 2024 being hosted by America and West Indies. 

This match will be played at Nassau County Stadium in New York from 8 pm Indian time.

Whichever team wins this match will qualify for the Super-8. The Indian team led by Rohit Sharma is a strong contender to win and qualify. On the other hand, the Pakistan team, which is in a difficult situation, will also pray for India's victory.

Actually, if Pakistan has to qualify, then it will have to win its remaining one match and also pray that America loses both its remaining matches. 

Currently, in this Group-A, both the Indian team and America have equal 2-2 points. India is currently on top. Pakistan has won 1 match out of 3.

Indian top order batsmen will try to perform well in this match against America and gain momentum for the tough matches ahead. The American team may be inexperienced, but it has performed impressively and India will not try to underestimate it in any way.

The pitch at Nassau County Ground has not been favourable for the batsmen, but the Indian batsmen would like to avoid a repeat of their performance against Pakistan, when the team lost their last 7 wickets for 30 runs. 

A lax attitude against the USA may prove costly for India, as this team has defeated Pakistan earlier as well.

Monank Patel, Harmeet, Netravalkar, JC Singh and Noshtush Kenjige have their own stories related to India, but when players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jaspreet Bumrah and Rishabh Pant are in front, then the contest is bound to be interesting.

Batsmen like Kohli and Rohit do not always get a chance to bowl or face a bowler like Bumrah and so this will be a memorable occasion for the American players. The Indian team will definitely want to bat first if it wins the toss.

If India bowls first, then it will be difficult for America to reach triple digits in front of bowlers like Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj and Ravindra Jadeja. Shivam Dubey proved to be India's weak link in the last match. This aggressive batsman, who performed brilliantly for Chennai Super Kings in the IPL, has failed to adjust to the conditions here.

In such a situation, it will not be easy for Dubey to retain his place in the team because batsmen like Yashasvi Jaiswal are waiting for their turn. Wrist spinners like Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav should also get a chance before the Super Eight. In such a situation, either of these two can get a chance in place of Dubey.
