Announce NEET-UG Results Center, City Wise Online by Saturday: SC to NTA

On the medical entrance exam NEET-UG case, the Supreme Court has ordered the NTA to release the marks of all the students on its website. 

The apex court on Thursday ordered the National Testing Agency (NTA) to release the marks of all the students giving NEET center wise and city wise online by 12 noon on Saturday. 

The court said that the identity of the students should not be revealed in this process. 

During the hearing, the Supreme Court admitted that the paper was leaked in Hazaribagh and Patna. Now the matter will be heard on Monday. After the hearing, petitioner's lawyer Narendra Hooda said, "We raised all the things in the Supreme Court which indicate that the paper has been leaked. The paper has been leaked not only in Hazaribagh and Patna, but also in other places. The court has fixed the next date of hearing on Monday and directed the Bihar Police and the Government of India to bring the preliminary investigation report of the Bihar Police on record. Also, the NTA has been directed to declare the result of all NEET candidates on its website.

During the hearing on Thursday in the Supreme Court on the medical entrance exam NEET case, the apex court has asked the petitioners to prove that the NEET paper leak happened on such a large scale that the exam should be canceled and re-conducted. 

Re-examination can be ordered only if the entire exam is affected. A bench of Chief Justice (CJI) D.Y. Chandrachud and Justices J.B. Pardiwala and Manoj Mishra heard more than 40 petitions filed regardingNEET. These also include petitions filed by the National Testing Agency (NTA). 

The CJI said that whoever has leaked the paper must have done so not to make NEET a national issue but to earn money. Large scale leak of the paper also requires contacts at that level so that you can connect with all such key contacts in different cities etc. 

Whoever is making money from this will not circulate it on a large scale. On July 11, the apex court circulate it on a large scale. 

On July 11, the apex court had adjourned till July 18 the hearing on the petitions seeking cancellation of the exam, re-examination and investigation into the alleged malpractices in the conduct of NEET-UG 2024. 

In the NEET UG case, the Central Government has said in an affidavit filed in the Supreme Court that the data analytics of IIT Madras does not show any abnormality or large-scale irregularities.

After the reply of the Center and NTA in the NEET-UG 2024 case, the petitioners have also filed a written reply in the Supreme Court on Wednesday. In its reply filed in the Supreme Court, NTA had denied any irregularities in the NEET-UG exam based on the report of IIT Madras. 

IIT Madras is one of the members of the governing body of NTA. According to the affidavit of NTA, this report is not fundamentally correct due to its incomplete data and superficial analysis. 

A written reply has been filed on Wednesday on the reply of NTA and IIT Madras on behalf of the petitioners' nodal officer Sumit Kumar Sharma. It was said in the reply that NTA has tried to mislead the Supreme Court by filing an incomplete report of IIT Madras to show the incomplete data and analysis as correct. 

According to the affidavit, this report is not fundamentally correct due to incomplete data collection and superficial analysis. The written report said that this report casts doubt on the credibility of NTΤΑ
