Bilateral Meeting Between Modi And Putin Held in Moscow

A bilateral meeting has taken place between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Vladimir Putin in the Russian capital Moscow. In this meeting, PM Modi raised the issue of terrorism. 

Along with this, referring to the Ukraine war, he said that India is ready to provide all possible help for restoring peace. On the other hand, Putin has said that PM Modi is trying to end the Ukraine war.

PM Modi said that India has decades old relationship with Russia. India condemns terrorism in every form. The last few years have been challenging for humanity. In the coming times, India and Russia relations will become stronger. With the help of Russia, there has been stability in the price of oil. India is getting cheap oil with the help of Russia. India has raised the voice of the Global South. We have expressed our views on the Ukraine war with an open mind.

PM Modi further said that in the coming times, relations between India and Russia will become stronger. You called me yesterday like a true friend. Your cooperation regarding petrol and diesel is commendable. The whole world is watching my visit. We both expressed our views on Ukraine. Solution is not possible from the battlefield. War is a big challenge for humanity. India is ready to provide all possible help to restore peace between the two countries. We both will work together.

PM Modi said in the meeting with Putin that the world has faced many challenges in the last five years. First due to COVID-19 and then due to various conflicts, many challenges came up. India is in favor of peace between Russia and Ukraine. The problem can be solved only through peace. India is in favor of peace. For the last 2.5 decades, I have had relations with Russia as well as with you. We have met 17 times in about 10 years. We have had about 22 bilateral meetings in the last 25 years. This shows the depth of our relations.

PM Modi said in the meeting with Putin that the world has faced many challenges in the last five years. First due to COVID-19 and then due to various conflicts, many challenges came up. India is in favor of peace between Russia and Ukraine. 

At the same time, Putin said that PM Modi is trying to end the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. Along with this, Putin also expressed gratitude for the efforts being made by India to end the war. He said that relations between India and Russia are good. India has also suffered terrorism. Along with this, Putin has invited PM Modi to attend the BRICS conference
