Bill Gates to Feature in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2

Popular businessman Bill Gates is set to make a special appearance in Ekta Kapoor’s iconic TV show “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2”. According to ETimes, Gates will appear via a video call with Smriti Irani’s character, Tulsi Virani, and will feature in two out of three episodes of the storyline.
The episodes aim to raise awareness about the health of pregnant women and young children, in line with the work of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Smriti Irani decided to use the platform of the show to highlight these social issues.
“Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi” has a history of addressing social concerns such as aging, body shaming, and false domestic violence allegations, with the creators emphasizing the importance of depicting everyday challenges faced by men and women.
The second season of the popular show, celebrating 25 years of the original series, premieres on Star Plus and Jio Hotstar from July 29th, airing daily at 10:30 pm. The season stars Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay alongside Rohit Suchanti, Shagun Sharma, and Tanisha Mehta.
The original series, which aired from July 3, 2000, to 2008, completed 1,833 episodes and featured a star-studded cast including Smriti Irani, Amar Upadhyay, Ronit Roy, Mandira Bedi, Sudha Shivpuri, Jaya Bhattacharya, Hiten Tejwani, and Gauri Pradhan.
