With elections to the Village Committees and Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) knocking at the door, the Bharatiya Janata Party has gone into top gear! Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha on Tuesday made a thunderous declaration — “We are fully prepared for both elections!”
Addressing a high-voltage meeting of the BJP Janajati Morcha at the party’s state headquarters in Agartala, Dr. Saha sent out a powerful message to the tribal community. “This meeting is not just about elections. It is about the lives and future of our tribal brothers and sisters. The BJP government, guided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is determined to resolve their problems and ensure development in every corner of tribal society,” he thundered.
Slamming past governments for “ignoring tribal welfare,” Dr. Saha said, “Since 2014, under PM Modi’s leadership, history has changed. Tribals are no longer neglected. Numerous initiatives have been taken, and Tripura too is working tirelessly in this direction.”
Party insiders say today’s meeting was more than just a review — it was a show of strength to prove that the BJP’s Janajati Morcha is united, aggressive, and battle-ready. The presence of heavyweights like State BJP President Rajiv Bhattacharya, Tripura-Assam General Secretary (Organization) Ravindra Raju, Tribal Welfare Minister Vikas Debbarma, Industries and Commerce Minister Santana Chakma, and Janajati Morcha chief Parimal Debbarma turned the meeting into a political spectacle.
With slogans of tribal empowerment echoing through the party office, the BJP has clearly sent a strong signal: the countdown for the elections has begun, and the saffron party is ready to storm the ballot box once again!
