Border-Gavaskar Trophy: Australia Announced Team For Last 2 Test Matches Against India

Australia has announced the team for the last 2 Test matches of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against India. 

2 major changes have been made in it. Nathan McSweeney, who opened with Usman Khawaja in the first three Tests, has been dropped from the squad by the selectors, while 19-year-old opener Sam Constas has been included in the team for the first time.

At the same time, Josh Hazlewood, who is struggling with injury, has also not got a place in the team. Apart from this, fast bowler Jhay Richardson has returned after three years. 

The fourth Test match of the series between India and Australia will be played in Melbourne from December 26, while the last and fifth match will be played in Sydney from January 3

19-year-old opening batsman Sam Constas, who played for the Australian Prime Minister's XI team against India, has got his first chance. 

Constas scored a century in that pink ball practice match. For this, he was selected as the Player of the Match.

Richardson got a chance in the Test team after three years. Richardson played his last Test match in December 2021 at the Adelaide ground in the Ashes series against England.
