Central Police Welfare Store To Open in Manipur: Amit Shah

Manipur has been burning in the fire of violence for the last one year. There is a lot of loss of life and property due to the continuous violent protests. Meanwhile, the Union Home Ministry has made a big announcement. The ministry is going to open a Central Police Welfare Store in the state. Union Minister Amit Shah gave this information by sharing a post on his social media.

Amit Shah said on social media that in line with the commitment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Home Ministry is starting an initiative to provide goods to the people of Manipur at reasonable prices. According to which the government is going to open Central Police Welfare Stores in the state. These stores will open for the general public from Tuesday, September 17. Shah said that in addition to the 21 existing stores, 16 new stores will be opened. Out of the 16 new centers, eight will be opened in the valley and the remaining eight in the hills.

This initiative of the government will help the people of the state a lot. They will be able to get all the goods of basic needs easily from these stores and that too at reasonable prices. For a long time, people are facing many problems due to violence. They are not even able to get the essential goods. Shops are closed at many places, and goods are not being delivered at many places due to fear. At the same time, rioters have set many shops on fire.

The central government and the state CM N Biren Singh are constantly monitoring the situation in Manipur. A large number of security forces have been deployed in the violence-hit areas, who are keeping an eye on every inch. Meanwhile, Assam Rifles in Manipur have arrested a member of the Kuki organization who has Myanmar citizenship. CM Biren said that he had been claiming from the beginning that outsiders and foreign forces are involved in the current crisis in Manipur.

Violence has been going on in Manipur since the month of May last year. So far more than 200 people have died and more than 50 thousand people have been injured. People are taking shelter in other places to save their lives. The government is taking all steps as a precaution for the safety of the people
