CEO Punit Agarwal Visits North Tripura. Inspects Vote Counting Preparation

Puneet Agarwal the Chief Electoral Officer of Tripura visited Dharmanagar, district headquarters of North Tripura district on Friday. 

On reaching Dharmanagar, he went straight to Bir Bikram Institution, where EVMs (Electronic Voting Machines) are kept and four vote counting stations are set up. 

CEO Puneet Agarwal inspected the  counting halls, strongrooms, media rooms, drinking water systems and CCTV systems.

North Tripura District Magistrate Debapriya Bardhan, North District Superintendent of Police Bhanupada Chakraborty, ARO of Dharmanagar subdivision and other officials were present with him. 

Puneet Agarwal scrutinizes everything thoroughly and consults with concerned authorities.

Later he went to Dharmanagar District Magistrate's video conference hall and held a review meeting with officials of all line departments of North Tripura district focusing on counting of votes to be held on June 4. 

Police officials including AROs of three sub-divisions Dharmanagar, Panisagar and Kanchanpur were present in the meeting. 

A strongroom has also been set up  in Panisagar subdivision.

In an interview, CEO  Agarwal said, he inspected the strongrooms that have been built at Dharmanagar Bir Bikram Institution in North Tripura District and checked all the preparations including security. 

He expressed satisfaction about the preparations of the counting halls.
