CM Dr Manik Saha Visits Tripura State Homeopathy Hospital, RIPSAT

On a sudden visit Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha inspected Netaji Subhash State Homeopathic Hospital at Renters' Colony in the capital Agartala. 

He spoke with the hospital authority and inquired the patients admitted there.

Later speaking with the press Chief Minister said that the government needs to think more to establish a homeopathic college. State government is constantly trying to provide good medical services to the people.

"There are many lack in this hospital. It will be resolved soon. Discussions will be held on how to provide more benefits to the people" he said.

The government is giving special importance to infrastructure development in order to reach homeopathy treatment to the common people, said CM Dr Manik Saha.

Later Chief Minister visited the Regional Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology, RIPSAT. He talked with the students and faculty members of this institution.

Speaking with the press the chief minister also said that he came to visit and understood everything at a glance. All that lack of care is observed in the eye. We will talk to the officials about this. But every year students from here take homeopathic and ayurvedic medicine courses including B pharma, D pharma, M pharma. 50 percent of the students from the North Eastern region study here. 

But he said that he is dissatisfied with the lack of such care in this place. Besides, the Chief Minister also said that he came here and witnessed the problems of infrastructure and faculty. The Chief Minister also said that there is no lack of care if it is private , but there is a considerable lack of care if it is government sector. To come out of this, the thinking has to be changed now and regular visits will be made to mobilize the workers.
