CM Inspects The Proposed Land For New Tripura Bhavan In Mumbai

During his visit to Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra, Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Thursday visited the land proposed for construction of new Tripura Bhavan in Kharghar Sector-16 area of ​​Navi Mumbai. 

Dr. Saha went to Mumbai yesterday to attend the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Then he visited the proposed place today. Apart from this he reviewed the progress of Tripura Bhavan construction work.

In this regard, Chief Minister Dr. Saha told the media that people from Tripura often come to Mumbai for treatment and other purposes. So the current state government has been planning to set up a Tripura building in Mumbai for a long time. Basically, this initiative has been taken keeping in mind the patients and other people coming to work.

Chief Minister said, we don't have any Tripura buildings in Mumbai. Hence it was decided to acquire land for setting up a Tripura building here. Meanwhile, I came to Mumbai to attend the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected Chief Minister of Maharashtra and took this opportunity to visit the land proposed for Tripura Bhavan. This place is very close to Tata Cancer Hospital and can be reached using two roads. Besides, Sikkim and other states have also taken initiatives to set up buildings in this area. I have examined the structure and design of the proposed building. Some changes may be made to it. And 100 crores have been sanctioned for the implementation of this project. Land has already been acquired.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha also said that the people of Tripura will be greatly benefited if Tripura Bhavan is established in the coming days. 

During the inspection of the proposed land, the Chief Minister was accompanied by the officials of the concerned department. The Chief Minister expressed his satisfaction after visiting the land.
