CM Manik Saha Inaugurated Development Projects in Sepahijala District

Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the development projects dedicated to public welfare in three different places of Sepahijala district on Tuesday. Among the public projects inaugurated by the Chief Minister on this day are – inauguration of the newly constructed building of Dayarampara Primary Health Center and Takarjala Community Health Center at Golaghati in Sepahijala district and inauguration of synthetic turf football field of Sudhanya Debbarma Smriti Higher Secondary School in Jampuizla.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister said that: 

The Bharatiya Janata Party-led Tripura government is working following the directives of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Prayas. Be it sports, health or agriculture we are working towards making Tripura a model state.  Prime Minister Modi mentioned Tripura as an example of development during the Odisha elections. After hearing such inspiring words from the Prime Minister, we have to work harder. Since 2018, the current state government has been working on the development of Tripura following the Gujarat model.

At present we have 6 National Highways and the Prime Minister has given in-principle approval for four more National Highways. Besides, four ropeways are under construction. Communication system in Tripura is now much improved. Due to this communication system people faced many problems earlier. Now those who are coming to Tripura after a long time have expressed their amazement at the development of the state. The BJP-IPFT and Tipra Matha governments of Tripura have decided that development of the state is the main aim of all.

Just as there is no religion of blood, there is no religion of development. We have taken loans from the World Bank for the development of hospitals, roads etc. We are committed to opening a medical college in ADC area and all initiatives are being taken for this. 

The state government is working on the development of tourist centers. That is why world famous cricketer Sourav Ganguly has decided to be the brand ambassador. Now foreign tourists are also coming to the state and it has increased the number of tourists significantly. I am sure that in the coming days this present government will strengthen the pace of development in Tripura.

The current state government will speed up development work in Tripura in the coming days. There will be no compromise on the question of development. This government has given great priority to upgradation of agriculture, health, education and sports
